Edern, the Lazy Reaper

Edern is the one who leads dead souls onto their destined afterlife.
Not much is known about his origins and not even Edern is aware of how he came to be.
This doesn't stop him from doing his job, though, nor does it stop him from enjoying modern inventions.
He spends whatever time he has between jobs watching shows on his television, particularly soap operas.
He doesn't accompany souls beyond the border of life and death, so he isn't completely sure about what happens after a mortal's death.
Edern has had mortals attempt to slay him to prolong their lives, before.
Of course, none of those challenges actually worked.
